Organix Moroccan Argan Oil

Hello everyone!
Recently I have been trying to nurse my hair back to health so I can grow it out. I am trying to achieve long, strong beautiful hair. One of the products I have purchased in my attempts at revamping my hair is this Moroccan Argan Oil by Organix. It is specifialy designed for "Dry & Coarse Hair".  (Says so on the box).

On the bottle it says:
"An extra powerful blend of Moroccan Argan Oil to deeply heal, smooth and restore luster to damaged, dry and coarse hair."

I should probably tell you that I have thick, dry hair. It is also a little damaged due to previous bleaching when I was a blonde last year. To get my hair healthier I have decided to stick with darker colors rather than bleaching. So, with my thick and damaged hair, I had to have this stuff!

It was around six dollars at my local Walmart.

What I do is; I take a shower, wrap my hair up in a towel for a few minutes, then let my hair down. By then its damp, not drenched. I put a dime sized amount on my palm and rub my hands together. (this warms the oil slightly, and helps for better distribution into the hair). I start with my ends and work my way to almost the scalp. I do not put the oil directly near my scalp. That could cause excess oils in your roots and end up making your hair look flat and dirty. Then I style my hair however I prefer for that day.

I would have to say that this product is amazing! It makes my hair soft and shiny. And I am realizing that after each use my hair feels a bit healthier, like I'm breathing life back into it. It also smells pretty amazing. I think I'm going to give this product a 4.5 out of 5. If you have color treated, permed, or just damaged/ dry hair, I'd get it. You wont regret it!

With all my love, stay simply beautiful!

Bed Head: Let's Get Tropical Exfoliator

This stuff is amazing! I purchased this a while ago from Ross for about $3 but I'm not sure what it runs for or where you can find it normally. It is an exfoliator. It smells kind of like bananas and a little bit like suntan lotion. It reminds me of the beach. I like to use it right after I shave, and right before I wash my entire body. I use it mainly on my legs, feet, and arms. It leaves my skin feeling AMAZING. If you find this somewhere, and you like scrubs of any kind, you should definitely snatch it up.

Mane N Tail Review

I have been looking for this shampoo and conditioner for quite some time. I finaly found it at Ross one day after work for $2.99 a piece and quickly yanked it off the shelves to get in line. I had heard that this shampoo somehow was the holy grail I had been looking for. It nurses your hair back to health while making it grow a little bit faster too. Who wouldn't want to give this a try?!?!!!!

So, I took it home and fell in love. The smell of the shampoo and conditioner isn't like Herbal Escences or anything but it absolutely DOES NOT STINK! The only complaint I have is that my hair is pretty thick and it's getting pretty long, and it takes a lot of product to saturate my hair. But for the priced I paid for it, it's not that big of an issue.

To wrap things up, BUY IT! I promise you, you have nothing to lose. I could already tell a difference in my hair the first time I used it. I ranted and raved so much to my boyfriend, now he is using it with me!

Places I've heard you can find it:
  • Ross
  • Walmart
  • Pet supply stores (originaly created for horse use)
  • Drug Stores

Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Eye Primer Review

Hello again! Long time, no blogs, huh? Well I'm back! This is my review on a product I was sent from Beauty Stat. I have used this product for a little while now and my sample is finally gone, and from my expeierience, I love it. I tend to have dry skin and I think this product was made for dry skin because it just works wonderfuly. It has a peachy color to it so it evens out your skin tone and apparently it helps with aging. Well, I haven't noticed anything in that department but its because I'm only nineteen years old (I'll be twenty in November). I also liked this product for a primer/base concealer for under my eyes! I am young and life is short and lets just say I'm a night owl, so in turn, I have dark spots/circles under my eyes and I need all the help I can get to cover those bad boys up and let me tell you, this product helps! My concealer stays on, my eyeshadow stays on, it doesn't stink, it doesn't crease for me, so all in all I LOVE IT! I'm not sure how much the full size costs and I'm hoping I can get it other places than Sephora but all I know is I'm getting some more!!!!!

Sally Hansen Salon Effects: Real Nail Polish Strips

Hello again ladies! I recently purchase two boxes of these nail polish strips from my local Walmart. I got them for $8.50 each. I got this champagne color and a zebra striped set. I put the champagne color on my nails because I work in a restaurant and we have to have light or neutral colored nails. I ended up putting the zebra striped ones on my big toes only and painted the rest of my toes a teal color.
The application process was easy. You just rub nail polish remover over your nail, peel off the clear plastic layer and then apply the nail polish strip and rub it on your nail for a good 15 to 30 seconds. I did notice however the my hands were getting a tiny bit sweaty while doing this so some of the strips toward the end didn't want to stay on. I would recomend sitting in front of a fan or stopping halfway through and dunking your hands in ice water for just a minute or so.
As far as wear and tare goes, I did find that my fingernails started chipping at the tips after a few days, but I think its because I use my hands for everything at work because I am a waitress. But the zebra print is still on my toes and looks PERFECT! (Besides the line of just nail where my toe nails have grown.) I did try to go back a week later and put the rest of the zebra ones on my nails. That didnt go so well because the strips were brittle now. So I do need to point out that you need to use the strips immediatly after opening the package.
Would I buy these again?!? Absolutely, but only for my toe nails because its been 3 weeks and the zebra print toe nails still look amazing. Maybe if I didn't use my hands so much I would buy them for my hands but until I get out of the restaurant business, I will be using these nail polish strips for pedicures only!

E.L.F. (Eyes. Lips. Face.) Cosmetics: Eyeliner Pen Review

So, upon entering my local Dollar Tree, I knew I was determined to head down the makeup isle. As soon as I started discarding the familiar L.A. Colors products, I noticed something new: ELF COSMETICS!!! I had seen e.l.f. cosmetics in places such as Target, but never thought I'd run into them at the dollar store. They only had two different items, this eyeliner pen and an eyeshadow brush, so I bought both.

Let me just tell you this, I only got to use this thing ONE time. It started drying out by the time I was done with my second eye. I then turned it upside down hoping that it would run to the tip, but unfortunately there was nothing left. Good thing it was only a dollar. . .
